November 5, 2009 at DCU Center Worcester, MA
DESCRIPTION :
---------------------
One of the biggest growing pressures on our healthcare system is access to quality long term care. Many of today's assisted living communities are in great locations, but the buildings themselves suffer from deferred maintenance and outdated amenities that are in desperate need of upgrades. A daunting thought for many owners and administrators, but inarguably the best assurance to maintain quality care and high census levels. We discuss a forward thinking approach to successfully undergo construction while remaining fully occupied and operational. We navigate the audience from pre-construction planning, phasing, logistics and safety - through the midst of construction and the art of project close-out. We discuss current renewable energy and green technologies that reduce operating costs. This interactive workshop is intended for Executive Directors, Owners and Managers, Corporate Staff, Resident Care Directors, Department Heads, Maintenance and Operations Directors, Quality Improvement Directors.
