CAMBRIDGE, MA.— Paul Ognibene, President of Urban Spaces, LLC, a real estate development company that specializes in luxury restorations in urban centers, joined project team members including representatives from Nauset Construction Corp. and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, as well as Cambridge City officials and neighborhood residents for a reception in Dana Park. The event kicked off construction of Dana Park Place (www.DanaParkPlace.com), a historic condominium conversion situated in Cambridgeport between Harvard University, MIT, and the Charles River.
The reception, which was held in the two acre park across the street from Dana Park Place marked the beginning of the transformation of a former landmark brick schoolhouse and stately 19th century church building located at 20 McTernan Street. Dana Park Place will consist of 43 one, two and three-bedroom condominiums with soaring ceilings, oversized windows, open floor plans, and every modern convenience. In addition, Urban Spaces is pursuing LEED certification, making Dana Park Place one of Cambridge’s premiere "Green" residential buildings.
