The role of the Chief Estimator is a critical one. Aran is a highly regarded member of the Nauset team. His ability to quickly learn and identify the “nuts and bolts” of a project and predict the direct and indirect cost of labor and materials is paramount to a project’s success and a client’s satisfaction. With the advent of increased competition and the design build concept, Nauset has integrated the role of the Chief Estimator into the on-going core business process to more effectively service our clients.

Aran takes the responsibility for every aspect of the bid development process. His ability to leverage his knowledge of escalating cost of materials and his understanding of every aspect of a project is evident in Nauset’s detailed estimates. Aran is involved in every project from conceptual budgeting to a hard bid scenario. As Chief Estimator, Aran oversees the quality control for individual trades. Pertinent coordination and detailed information is given to subcontractors as a means of controlling the bid process. Every estimate is carefully executed to uphold the interest of the owner, architect, subcontractors, and safety of the general public.

Aran has a proven track record of successful project procurement including managing the estimating team, creating the bid strategy, developing and maintaining subcontractor relationships, and training. Aran’s complete understanding of subcontracting and procurement strategies has proven to be a tremendous asset during the preconstruction process.

Aran comes to Nauset with an impressive resume of working with prestigious construction firms, such as Suffolk Construction Company in Boston. He has multi-sector construction experience including hospitality, senior living, education, commercial, residential, industrial, and tenant fit-outs.
