Brookside at Regency

Radius Management Services, Inc. selected Nauset for the construction of its premier assisted living community. This ground-up project included the construction of a 3-story, 29 bed assisted living community that is connected to an existing 120-bed skilled nursing facility. The community offers seniors the luxury of modern amenities in a comfortable setting that encourages social activities and new friendships. It provides its residents a secure environment and a place they can truly call home. A state-of-the-art, self-contained wastewater treatment facility and extensive site work, including a new facility access road has been constructed. Amenities include dining rooms, living rooms, medical examining rooms, physical therapy rooms and administrative offices.
One of the many challenging aspects of this project involved connecting the new assisted living building to an existing, fully occupied and operational skilled nursing facility. The 25,000 sq. ft. project included the construction of a new roof deck courtyard and below-grade and surface parking. The installation of utility services and a comprehensive landscaping scope of work was completed in the spring of 2009. The building features steel framed construction supported by conventional spread footings and features a cementitious exterior façade.
